Thank Goodness for Decency

I am grateful to Nancy Pelosi for taking some action and greeting the Dalai Lama; now maybe she can bring the Chinese government to talks about the future of Tibet.

This photo reminds me of a reference in the Jew in the Lotus by Rodger Kamenetz; in it one of the Dalai Lama's followers informs the visiting contingent of Jewish scholars from the U.S and Europe that the Buddhist monk always sees himself as the lowliest person in the room.
